A Quick Guide to Downloading Applications Need help downloading files or applications? Just follow these easy steps. Shortly after clicking the "download" icon, this dialog box will appear: Make sure that "Save this program to disk" is selected, then click the "OK" button. |

The following dialog box will then appear: The location listed in the "Save In" window is the current default "Save" location. To find the downloaded application easily, change the "Save" location to "Desktop". |

| To do this, left-click on the contents button on the right edge of the "Save In" window and, while continuing to hold down the left mouse button, select "Desktop." The window should look like this: |  |
| Release the left button, and the current default "Save" location should switch to "Desktop." The resulting dialog box should look something like this: |  |
| Click "Save" and the following dialog box will appear: This box gives you the ongoing status of the download. After the download is complete, your screen should look like this: |  |
| Click the "OK" button to end the download process, then double click on the setup file to install the application. Follow the instructions given during the installation process; unless you have a very good reason, accept the default installation locations suggested in the installation process. |  |
